I am not a fan of testimonials published on web sites because they remind me of those surveys taken after you buy a car. The dealer begs you to answer "outstanding" to every question on the satisfaction survey or else the dealership will get a bad rating. Likewise, I suspect that most testimonials on web sites are the result of some prompting on the part of the tutor or tutoring company, and parents or students are too polite to refuse.
