Testing timeline for the rest of 2020

It has been a confusing time and there are still some unknowns, but this is what has been announced so far by the companies that write the ACT and SAT. Much depends on how many schools will be able to host the tests scheduled for this summer and fall.

ACT Online in-home full-length ACT (on JUly 9 the ACT announced that in-home testing will be delayed, no date given).

SAT ONLINE IN-HOME FULL-LENGTH SAT ( on June 3 the College Board announced that they have cancelled plans for an in-home SAT). They have not announced any plans for online in-school testing.

* There will be an in-school, full-length, pencil-and-paper ACT. On July 9 the act announced that online in-school testing will be postponed, no date given. On July 9 they also announced that online in-school section re-testing for students who already have taken a full-length ACT will be postponed, no date given.
